About Us...

We are the founders and directors of La Evolucion Dance Company. We have been dancing together and doing aerials and lifts since 1987 but it wasn't until 1997 that Salsa became our sole passion. We've had the opportunity to be a part of Ava Apple's Latin Symbolics from 2000 to 2001 and quickly became Professional Salsa Instructors. Since 2003, La Evolucion Dance Company has built a reputation for combining daring aerials, synchronized lifts and high-energy Salsa dancing. We've performed in various local and international venues including Los Angeles, Boston, Hong Kong, New York, Nevada and the Philippines. We're guest performers in The LATIN Show and the 2006 Oakland Raiders vs. Cleveland Browns Halftime Show. Our main goal is to provide the highest quality Salsa dance intruction to students of all ages and levels. With our performance students and colleagues, our purpose is to challenge their creativity and abilities so we could consistently give our audiences top-notch and memorable entertainment. To the novice, we strive to kindle that spark of passion that sets SALSA dancing apart. We hope to share our vision with you!
